The Municipal Energy Council operates in Cárdenas, a group that has among its main tasks the planning and control of energy and resulting from the implementation of Institution 3 of the State Council.

The Heritage, Nature and Society Scientific Event, convened by the Varadero Landmarks, Heritage and Tourism Interpretation Center, will take place this December 5 as part of the Culture Day that began there on December 1.
